Finding a new car
It is never easy to find a new car, but this time round for me it was going to be especially difficult. My previous car had cost me a fortune and even after all the money I spent on it, it still died a death./ I had just spent five hundred pounds on the thing having the head gasket replaced, and three weeks later it went again! My car was a banger anyway so I wasn’t going to throw away my money by fixing it again, I couldn’t stand the sight of it to be honest! The problem I had was that I had spent so much money on the car before, that I would have very little to spend on my new one! I had to take a risk with whatever I bought because with about six hundred pounds, it is a gamble!
I had a little look in my local paper, but they didn’t even have anything that cheap! Next I went on the internet, and I came across a great site called Motors.co.uk. This site was great in that you could select what amount of money you were willing to spend, and the site would return what was available. I chose to search between 0 and £700 and several cars were returned! There was a ten year old Renault Laguna that came up which looked quite nice! They wanted £695 for the car but when I went to look at it I managed to get the guy down to £625, and for that I managed to drive it away! The site really helped and so far the car has not let me down once!
